About
VCE Summer Tutoring is a not-for-profit created by University of Melbourne students. Our mission is to ensure high school students from across Victoria can access a high quality education.
As we leave three years of disrupted learning in Victoria and enter a deepening cost of living crisis, it’s more important than ever to support students experiencing disadvantage with strong preparation for their VCE years. Our program combines academic classes, wellbeing support, social activities, and tertiary information seminars to prepare students for the year ahead. The program is youth-led, and also creates opportunities for young people to volunteer in facilitator and academic mentoring roles, and deepen their connections to the community.
The program is organised by a team of program managers and a small army of volunteers and supporters. We have worked with a number of organisations looking to support our students and invest in Victoria’s young minds of the future. If you would like to support our organisation, please do not hesitate to get in touch – we have multiple options for individuals or businesses.
